  • Do I need to make every weekly session?
    • It is ideal for you to attend each session so you can share and receive feedback with your cohort. Sessions are recorded in case you do need to miss one.
  • Will I get any additional coaching during the course?
    • Yes! Each member receives a one-on-one session with me, in person or virtual, to develop your message further. 
  • What other support is available as I go through the course?
    • You will have access to a group chat where each member can share support and feedback in the Own Your Awkward Talks community. There is also a shared hub with all course content and recorded sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Do I need to be an experienced speaker to get on stage?
    • No, you do not need to be experienced. However, if you are terrified of public speaking, this is not the place to start.
  • Is the course in person and how long does it run?
    • We meet once a week for six weeks, via Zoom, for approximately 90 minutes each session. 
  • How long will my talk be?
    • We target around seven minutes, but it can be shorter or longer depending on the time you need and your comfort level.
  • Can I talk about anything?
    • In short yes, though the audience is family-friendly so we target a professional etiquette.
  • What is the cost of the speaking course?
    • The course is $995 if you pay all at once. You also have an option to pay in four payments of $275 per month.
    • Save $200 by enrolling before January 30th 2025.
